Route M 04 - Millington Wood, Millington village, Wolds Way and Millington Dale
This circular walk is just under 6 miles long. It climbs up gradually onto the Wolds with views to the north over Millington, then continues via Sylvan Dale to Nettle Dale and returns along Millington Dale. This route is suitable after rain when other routes are muddy; half the route is along minor roads (mostly with wide verges). There are gradients both up and down. Route M 03
is a clockwise alternative using some of the same paths.
Start from Millington Wood car park, ¾ mile north-east of Millington village. (Explorer Map 294 Market Weighton etc. reference SE838530).
